MARGUERITE MARILLAT. An early September ripening pear. Long, irregular, enormous shaped fruit. Pale yellow – extremely juicy. Conference and Williams are good pollinators. Originated in France in 1872. Extremely heavy cropping, but its own pollen is limited and therefore is not the best for other pollinators in the group.
